Michael Bastian seems like a pretty sensible guy.  His attention to texture, tailoring, and utilitarian elegance are pretty outstanding. Camping Out

Round three of the H&M HIV/AIDS prevention campaign! For the S/S 2010 season, with music festivals as inspiration, suitable muses Lou Dillon and Elizabeth Jagger model the goods. I’m not so into purple leopard print, or paisley, but it works.  Plus, the fact that they included (a super cheap) tent and sleeping bag in this collection (and produce this campaign) is pretty awesome.  The low price tag may equate to a potentially soggy festival evening, but at least you’ll stand out.



Cardigans

Nina Persson, mastermind behind The Cardigans and A Camp is taking a stab at designing via Swedish label Hope for their Fall 2010 collection. Unlike most musicians turned fashion curators, she’s actually done a great job! Plus, she’s actually honest about her feelings on the fashion world. Fabulous Fleur + Flair

The highly influential, highly stylish, highly beautiful, short lived magazine edited by the highly elegant (and insanely long lived) Fleur Cowles has me in a tizzy each time I see it.  Collecting pennies for the compilation I saw in Partners & Spade last week, and the individual issues available via ebay.  If you beat me to the chase, well, at least show me your copies…
